Stage Bench Turnover

It is advisable to limit the number of benches per stage in a period at a given time to save costs and ensure safety.

Use the Stage Bench Turnover constraint to restrict the total number of benches mined per stage in a period.

To configure this constraint:

1. Click on a cell in the table that belongs to a particular pit, stage, and period.

2. Enter a value. This will represent the maximum number of benches in that period that can be mined in total. In the example below, we set the maximum number of benches in Period 1 for stage 8 of the pit Au_demo_new_phase.

Note: If you apply this constraint, you cannot apply the Maximum Active Benches constraint.

After you generate your schedule, you can view your results in a pivot report. To open your results in a pivot report:

1. Download your schedule.

2. Open a pivot report.

3. Load your schedule into the pivot report workspace.

4. Configure your pivot report

   1. Set your Source to Origin Blocks Schedule.

   2. Add the following fields to your pivot report: Bench, Period, and Tonnes.

   3. Add Bench to Row Labels.

   4. Add Period to Column Labels. Add Tonnes to ∑Values.

You can now see which benches have been mined in each period.
