Waste Area Required Tonnage

The Waste Area Required Tonnage constraint is used to set a target minimum amount of waste that can be dumped per area in a period. You can apply this constraint to both waste utilities and virtual waste dumps.

You can enter the number limiting the amount of waste dumped in each area per period the following ways:

• Manually cell by cell.

• Manually in a cell and then clicking to copy it from the current cell to the next period of this waste area. Double-click to copy the number to all subsequent periods of this waste area.

• Manually in the field next to the Populate Empty Cells button. After clicking this button, all empty cells corresponding to waste areas will be populated with the value you have entered.
