Dependencies

The Dependencies tab is located at the bottom of the screen as part of the Reporting Window tabs (see User Interface). It is used to create predetermined sequences that are to be honoured by the client evaluator when creating optimal schedules. The Origin Solids - Dependencies section details how to create dependencies in a setup and is also applicable to Epoch. There are only two minor differences:

• Manual (activity) dependencies can be created in Epoch, where you can specify the activity performed on the predecessor and successor solid before linking the two together.
• Relational dependencies can be further restricted by choosing the activity performed on the predecessor and successor solids.
