Waste Area Required Tonnage

Use the Waste Area Required Tonnage constraint to set a target minimum amount of waste that should be dumped per area in a period.

Note:   Virtual waste dumps are not available in Origin Blocks Equipment setups.

Note:  This constraint is sometimes called by its acronym, that is WART.

You can enter the number limiting the amount of waste dumped in each area per period the following ways:

• Manually for each area in each period, or by copying the entered setting to the next period using the button. To copy the setting to all subsequent periods double-click the button. Alternatively, select a cell with the setting you want and press ctrl + c. Next, while holding ctrl on the keyboard, select all cells where you want to apply this setting and paste it with ctrl + v.

• Manually in the field next to the Populate Empty Cells button. After clicking this button, all empty cells corresponding to waste areas will be populated with the value you have entered.
