Grade Bins

Grade bins allow you to use the MIK grade bins that have been previously calculated within the block model. The number and bin size of these bins need to be defined before the model fields are selected for the MIK grades and proportion items. If a consistent naming system has been used for the grade and proportion variable names, these will be picked up automatically when you select the MIK Auto Column Selection checkbox.

Once the grade bins have been defined, the Proportion and Grade Fields will need to be selected manually for each grade bin, if not using the Auto Column Selection.

You can set the grade bin range in the Calendar > Targets subtab for each mill and stockpile in the setup.
