Mining Direction

Use the Mining Direction feature to visualise the direction in which mining will progress as you step through your Epoch schedule.

Note:  You can use this feature in Epoch setups that include either a solid pit model or a dynamic solids pit model.

Note:  The Mining Direction feature does not have any impact on the cutting functionality in setups with dynamic solids pits.

To add a mining direction, follow these steps:

  1. Click Mining Direction on the bottom toolbar in the viewer.

    2. The Mining Direction panel will appear.

  2. Select the models, benches and solids to apply the mining direction to. Select the fleet that will be moving in the said mining direction.

  3. Add mining direction manually by typing in values, or clicking on points in the viewer.

  4. Click the exit sign in the top right hand corner.

  5. Step through the schedule.
