Solid Models

Source file: origin-reserve-models.htm

A solid model consists of a table of information and a 3D model that contains irregularly shaped units of material. Every unit (called a solid) shares a set of attributes.

The set of attributes related to each solid in a model is stored in the Properties tab.

There are three types of solid models:

  • A solid pit that represents a mine pit.

  • A waste utility that represents a site for waste storage.

  • A stockpile, a temporary destination for material, to be sent to the mill later.

You can have multiple models of each type in a single setup.
