Filter Discontinuities

The filter discontinuity tool allows the operator to load up all their 10k+ discontinuities in a view and then hide the one's they're not interested in. It works like a regular point filter but instead of hiding points it hides discontinuity objects based on dip, dip direction, length and area of the discontinuity.

  1. On the Geotechnical ribbon tab navigate to the View group and select Filter Discontinuities.

  2. Select the discontinuities in the project explorer.

  3. Set the required parameters in the filtering tool.

Note:  If the filter type is not selected then those parameters will be ignored.
  4. Click OK or Apply.
