To create points
Points may be created to manipulate or add to existing data.
-
On the Create ribbon tab navigate to the Draw group. From the Points drop-down list select Points.
-
On the status bar, enter the coordinates of the First point, or click in the View window to auto-fill the fields.
-
Initially the points will be drawn on the action plane however, entering a Z value will place the point in the 3D space.
-
Enter more points, as required.
- Click Complete or press ENTER. The points become one object and are saved in the cad container. The function is also reset and ready for new entries.
- When finished with the function, click Cancel or press ESC to cancel and close the function.
Tip: Create points while in top view or use snap modes to ensure the points are created in the intended location.
