Opacity

Source file: translucency.htm

The Opacity tool (Ctrl+G) allows you to change the translucency of an object to any level between fully opaque and fully transparent.

This can be useful when overlaying an original surface and a changed surface to be able to view the changes.

To change translucency of an object:

  1. Select the objects to be modified.

  2. On the Home tab, in the Colour group, adjust the Opacity slider until the desired level of translucency is reached.

Note:  This does not change the objects or triangulations, only how they are displayed in the view window.
