Workbench tools

The Workbench toolbar appears at the top left-hand corner of the PointStudio window and contains the tool buttons listed below.

Note:  You can find more information in Workbench help documentation by clicking the Help button in the top right corner of PointStudio window and selecting Workbench Help. Alternatively, select Help from the Start Page window.

Workbench Launch Button

Gives access to tools and options found in the main Workbench environment, including Workflow Editor and preference settings. For detailed information, see Workbench Help.

Undo

Undo the last operation.

Redo

Redo the last undone operation.

Rerun

Run the last five operations again with either the same or different data. Rerun is not available until after performing an operation that can be rerun.

Explorers

Show and hide project explorers in the left side bar.

Logs

 Toggle display of Workbench logs. For detailed information, see Workbench Utilities > Logs in the Workbench help.

Property Editor

Opens the Property Editor window, showing the properties of selected objects from the project database. See Geometry > Property Editor.

 CSV Editor

Activates the integrated CSV editor. For detailed information, see CSV Editor in the Workbench help.

Download Manager

Activates the Download Manager to view applications available for download, and provides automatic software updates. For detailed information, see Download Manager in the Workbench help.

Image Viewer

Opens an image viewer window in the workspace. For detailed information, see Image Viewer in the Workbench help.

Text Editor

Opens an integrated text editor window in the workspace. For detailed information, see Text Editor in the Workbench help.

Workflow Editor

Opens the integrated Workflow editor. For detailed information, see Workflows Help in the Workbench help.

Vulcan tools

Open Vulcan interoperability tools. These buttons are only visible if Vulcan is installed.

Maptek Extend

For account licensing, preferences and help. For detailed information on licensing, see Acquiring a Maptek Account licence for an application or add-on in the Workbench help.

Access preferences for all open Maptek products and Workbench. See Preferences for details.
