View
The View group hosts sectioning tools that can assist with positioning and filtering data by enabling you to check scan alignments to confirm correct registration.

XY Slice View a horizontal section of selected data from above. |

Quick Section View a vertical section through two picked points. |

Section Mode View a section in front of, behind, or straddling the action plane. Also activates the section manager. |
XY Slice
The XY Slice tool allows you
to quickly section objects in a horizontal plane with elevation set to the middle of the view's vertical extents. The centre of rotation is moved to the centre of the sectioned objects. The default section thickness is
0.20 m or 0.656 ft.
On the
Position and Filter tab, in the View group, click 
XY Slice.
