Sequencing Accumulation and Reporting

Filter Selection

Use the Filter Selection option to define the filters that are to be used with the Sequencing Accumulation and Reporting option.

Prerequisites

Before working in this panel, it is recommended you first:

  • Load the desired Specification file
  • Use the Products option to define products

Setting Fields

Use this table to define the filter fields. These can be defined as containing fixed values or can be defined to calculate the values based on the triangulation name or a combination of other existing fields.

Field

Create a name for the filter using up to 30 alphanumeric characters.

Fixed Value

Click the Source Information option to launch the Fixed Value pop-up panel.

The following panel displays.

Values

Enter one or more fixed value(s) for the filter.

Click OK to save the defined fixed values.

Calculate

Select this check box to allow the filter value to be obtained from the name of the triangulation or from existing fields. You will need to define the calculated values using the Panel Calculate column.

Panel Calculate

Use this field to define the mode to calculate the value for the filter. Click the option to launch the Calculate Values panel.

The following panel displays.

Substring

Select this option to assign the start and length positions to be used for determining the calculated value.

Start

Enter the position of the first character in the triangulation name (for example, 2 will begin at the 2nd character in the triangulation name).

Length

Enter the total number of characters to use, from the first to the last (for example, 5 will include characters 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in the name).

Concatenate

Select this option to define the value concatenating the content of existing fields. Select the desired entries from the Report field drop-down list.

Click OK to save the defined Filter Selection parameters.

Filter

Select Filter

Select the filter you want to use.

Regions

Use Region

Select this check box to change the work level from the level of the block to the level of groups of blocks. Working at the groups of blocks level will allow you to obtain more general results. As such, some accuracy may be lost from the final results.

Each group of blocks is called a Region.

Region

Select the desired concept under which the block will be combined for building the regions.

Click OK to save the defined filters.
