Strike/Dip
Display the Strike/Dip
Use the Strike/Dip option to display, in a standard Vulcan text window, the strike, dip, plunge and pitch of points. The corresponding ellipsoid rotations will also be displayed. This can be used in grade estimation.
You have the option to change the annotation that are displayed from the Strike/Dip convention to the Dip, Dip Direction convention from the preferences in the Miscellaneous section.
Instructions
Click Strike Dip on the Analyse toolbar.

On the Analyse menu, point to Details, and then click Strike/Dip.
Select three points to define the plane of which you want to know the strike, dip and plunge. The first two points define the bearing and the third the dip. The points are shown graphically as an underlay. The strike, dip, dip direction, plunge, and pitch are displayed in a standard Vulcan text window.
Click OK to remove the text window. Specify another plane, or right-click to cancel the option.
