Start/End Sequence

Set Group Sequences

Use the Start/End Sequence option to group a sequence of operations together, so that sub totals for the sequence get calculated and displayed in the Operation report.

This option can also be accessed by selecting the Start > End Sequence button from the Dragline - Move Blocks toolbar.

Instructions

On the Dragline menu, point to Move Blocks, and then click Start Sequence to display the Start Sequence panel.

If a Dragline specifications file (.rsp) was not opened prior to selecting this option, then the Open Dragline Specification panel displays first.

Open Dragline Specification panel

Spec file name

Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the <spec_file_id> part of the dragline specifications file name. The maximum size is 6 alphanumeric characters. Selecting a name from the drop-down list will open an existing specifications file. Entering a new name will create a new specifications file.

Click OK.

Sequence name

Enter the name of the sequence, as it will appear in the operation report. It has a maximum of 20 alphanumeric characters.

Click OK.

The name of the option on the Move Blocks panel will then change to End Sequence. Selection of the End Sequence option will prompt you to end the current sequence, and the name of the option will then change back to Start Sequence again.
