Blast Report
Report Setup
Use Blast Report to report on the grade block or blasthole data in the currently loaded blast(s). Unlike the Blast Preferences option, which to post a blast report onto the screen, the Blast Report to send a blast report to a nominated CSV file.
Instructions
On the Grade Control menu, click Blast Report to display the Blast Report panel.
Report Type
Grade-block report
Select options to report on the grade-blocks in the currently loaded blast(s).
Blast-hole report
Select this option to report on the blast holes in the currently loaded blast(s).
Blast Selection
Select the blasts that you want to include in the report.
Click the Report Variable tab to continue.
Report Variables
There are two choices regarding what to include in the report: a sub-set of variables or all of the variables.
Select a sub-set of variables to report
The table will show a list of the variables selected. You can select a variable by clicking in the Report Variables column and using the drop-down list. Right-clicking the row numbers will provide a context menu with various options, as shown here:

Click this button to automatically populate the table with the blast reporting variables.
Report all variables
Select this option to use all variables in the report.
Use variable description rather than name in report
Sometimes variable names need to be shortened and can be somewhat cryptic, while the descriptions of the variables are usually much more understandable. This option allows you to use the descriptions provided in the Grade Control Database instead of the variable names.

CSV
Select this option to produce a report using a CSV format.

Column delimiter
Enter the field delimiting character that will be used to separate the fields in the resulting blast report. The default character is a single comma.
Column headers
Select this option if you want to include headers at the top of the spreadsheet.
Blast name header row
Select this option to include a blast header in the resulting report. The header section displays the blast name and, in the case of the grade blocks report type, the estimation method used.
Averages
Select this option to display the averages of each field in the resulting report.
Group grade-blocks by value (within blast)
Select the group variable to group by using the Group by variable drop-down list.
The selections in the data source list come from the Report Setup tab. If no options were selected, then this option will be deactivated.
Group totals/averages row
Select this option to include a row in the report that shows the totals and averages.
XML
Select this option to produce a report using an XML format.
Format decimal numbers to specified precision.
Select the CSV file from the drop-down list or enter a name for a new report.
Note: An existing report will be overwritten if chosen from the list.
Buttons
Delete Settings - Clear entries in the panel.
Load Settings - Load settings from a previously saved specification file.
Save Settings - Save current settings in a specification file.
OK - Generate a report which will be saved to your directory.
Cancel - Close the panel without saving.
