Grid

Use Grid to set the current grid cell to a nominated location and to display the grid value. The cell location is specified in terms of Columns (vertical) and Rows (horizontal).


Instructions

On the Grid Calc menu, point to Grid Query, and then click Grid to display the Grid Value panel.

Grid Cell

Enter the column and row number of the cell to be made the current cell.

The grid origin (in the south westerly corner) is at (1,1). An increasing column number [(1,1),(2,1),(3,1),...] corresponds to a move to the east. An increasing row number [(1,1),(1,2),(1,3),...] corresponds to a move to north, that is, (10,1) is east of the origin by 10 cells; (1,10) is north of the origin by 10 cells; (10,10) is east of the origin by 10 cells and north of the origin by 10 cells.

Click OK.

The current cell is set. The value of the cell displays in the Report Window.
