Mark

Use the Mark option to label alignment points. This option is useful for locating points in long section. If you know the location of some feature in plan, then you can label the alignment with a meaningful name, so that when you look at the alignment in long section, you can see where the feature lies. The label is appended to the point name, for example T/DRAIN where T = point name, / (forward slash) = separator and DRAIN = label.

Instructions

On the Iroad menu, point to Edit, and then click Mark.

Select the alignment.

Select the point to mark.

The following panel displays.

Enter point name

Enter the point name (a maximum of 40 alphanumeric characters). This name is appended to the existing point name.

Click OK.

To view the labels, use the Analyse > Label > Point Label option.
