Define Bridge

Use the Define Bridge option to mark points on the alignment where no batters will be generated. This option is useful when the alignment passes over a gully or river, as you want only to generate the road surface not the batters down to the surface.

Instructions

On the Iroad menu, point to Edit, and then click Define Bridge.

Select the alignment.

Select the starting point of the bridge.

Select the end point of the bridge.

The point names of the selected points are set to $BR, or appended with /$BR if the points have names.

When you apply the road cross sections to the alignment, you will see that no batter lines are created at the marked points.
