Radiate

Use the Radiate option to produce radiations from any survey station to any string with the alignment and connecting section lines treated to allow multiple stations.

Instructions

On the Iroad menu, point to Survey, and then click Radiate to display the Radiations panel.

Scaling factor

Enter the scaling factor to apply to the calculated radiation distances. The default value is '1.000'.

Click OK.

Select the survey station and the object to which to radiate.

If the object is an alignment or a section connecting line, then you are asked to select a start and end point to which to radiate. Radiation information, including chainage, bearing and distance, displays in the Report Window.

The radiations are displayed graphically in the current window, and you can select another object to which to radiate. Cancel to select another survey station. This process of selecting station and object can be repeated. You may end up with a display as shown in the diagram below.
