Import Table
Use this option to import full report tables to the washability system.
Instructions
On the Washability menu, click Import Table and the following panel is displayed.
There are two ways to import tables:
Import wash table(s) to table store
Choose a wash table store name from the drop-down list or browse from other directory. This will enable all the columns of the data-grid of the panel to allow the selection of CSV files needed. Supply the table name, horizon name, and the object name associated with the imported table. If the source table selected is a complete report table, these details will be filled automatically. However, they can be edited if needed.
Note: The Store Table Name is used as the database key in the table store for this information and therefore must be unique. So, if a table already exists in the database with the name obtained from the file (or supplied by the user), the system will automatically append a number in brackets to the name.
Once all required details are entered and validated, press OK and the data will be written to the table store.
Import wash table(s) to object
There needs to be some objects loaded on the screen in order to use this option.
Select Object
Click this button to select an object from the screen that contains the report-table attribute. If an object is selected, the name of the object (LayerName::ObjectName) appears in square brackets next to the button. This also enables the data grid allowing to select the CSV file(s) to be imported.
Optionally, use Set object colour and Set object fill pattern options to change the graphical display of the selected object.
Note: For importing to an object, the Store Table Name and Object Name columns in the data grid are disabled.
The Store Table Name is not used for object attributes as the table attribute is associated with the horizon and the object and therefore, the Horizon Name is the key to the table data on the object. The horizon name may be edited if required, but must be unique for the object. If a table already exists in the object’s attributes with the horizon name obtained from the file (or supplied by the user), the system will automatically append a number in brackets to the name.
The Object Name is not used as this is the name of the actual object to which the table is being imported.
Once all required details are entered and validated, press OK and the data will be written to the object's attributes.
