ID Block 
Display Block Information
The ID Block option to display a block's parameters. The selected block must be on the current section.
This option can also be accessed by selecting the ID Block button from the Dragline toolbar.
Instructions
On the Dragline menu, point to Blocks, and then click ID Block.
Select a block.
If a Dragline specifications file (.rsp
) was not opened prior to selecting this option, then the Open Dragline Specification panel displays first.

Spec file name
Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the <spec_file_id>
part of the dragline specifications file name. The maximum size is 6 alphanumeric characters. Selecting a name from the drop-down list will open an existing specifications file. Entering a new name will create a new specifications file.
Click OK.
Once selected, the block is highlighted and the following panel displays.
Name
The object name of the selected block. Blocks are numbered in the order in which they are created on section.
Label
The label of the block, as it appears on the screen.
Location
Strip
The label of the strip to which the block belongs.
Horizon
The label of the horizon to which the block belongs.
Indices
The (<strip_number>,<horizon_number>)
pair that defines the location of the block.
Attributes
Equipment
The equipment used to create the block. An equipment string of INSITU indicates that the block has not yet been moved by a piece of equipment.
Material
The material type of the block, taken from the horizon table.
Repose Angle
When the block is spoiled, this is the angle that will be formed between the spoil slope and horizontal. It is a property of the block's material type, but can be set independently of it.
Polygon Area
The area of the block polygon.
Swell Factor
The factor by which the block has been swollen from the bank.
3-D Factor
Applied in the same way as the Swell Factor, but used to account for the 3D effects of ramps, corners, etc.
Bank Area
The unswollen area of the block.
Rehandled Fraction
The number used to determine how much of a block has been moved. A rehandled fraction of -1 indicates an insitu block; 0 indicates a block moved wholly once; 1 indicates a block rehandled wholly once (that is, moved twice).
Prime Area
The unswollen area of the block that has not yet been moved.

Rehandled Area
The unswollen area of the block that has been rehandled.

Cumulative Moved Area
The unswollen area of the block that has been moved.
<Cumulative Moved Area> = <Bank Area> - <Prime Area> + <Rehandled Area>
Block Operations
A colon separated list of operations that have been applied to the block. See Block History for an explanation of the notation.
The percentages in parentheses after the Prime, Rehandled and Cumulative Moved Areas are based on the Bank Area.
