Save the currently open dragline specifications with a different ID

Use the Save As option to save the currently open Dragline mine model under a new identifier. The Dragline specifications file, section log files, template layer, and section layers are all saved under the new identifier.

Use this option to generate various scenarios. For example, you can perform a set of operations on a raw model, save it with a new name, undo the operations and try a different set of operations without losing the original operations. You could also use this option to create back up copies of your raw model.

Note:   All sections must be loaded before using this option. Otherwise the section layers will not be saved under the new identifier.

Instructions

On the Dragline menu, point to Files, and then click Save As to display the Save As... panel.

If a Dragline specifications file (.rsp) was not opened prior to selecting this option, then the Open Dragline Specification panel displays first.

Spec file name

Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the <spec_file_id> part of the dragline specifications file name. The maximum size is 6 alphanumeric characters. Selecting a name from the drop-down list will open an existing specifications file. Entering a new name will create a new specifications file.

Click OK.

Enter a six-character identifier (spaces cannot be used).

Click OK.

The Dragline model is then saved.
