Make a Dragline Section Current

The Set Current option to set a dragline section as the current section.

Note:   The concept of the current section is used throughout the Dragline module. Many of the options under the Dragline menu will only be applied to the current section; others will prompt you to apply them to the current section or all sections.

Instructions

On the Dragline menu, point to Sections, and then click Set Current.

Select a section.

If a Dragline specifications file (.rsp) was not opened prior to selecting this option, then the Open Dragline Specification panel displays first.

Spec file name

Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the <spec_file_id> part of the dragline specifications file name. The maximum size is 6 alphanumeric characters. Selecting a name from the drop-down list will open an existing specifications file. Entering a new name will create a new specifications file.

Click OK.

The dragline section that is defined by the selected section arrow, will then be made current. All template objects will be projected onto this section. The appearance of the section arrows will be updated, to show the new current section, as specified in the Attributes option.
