Step to Another Dragline Section Layer

Use the Change View option to step the view to another loaded section layer, by using a series of options.

Instructions

On the Dragline menu, point to View, and then click Change View option

The View Selection dialog box displays.

If a Dragline specifications file (.rsp) was not opened prior to selecting this option, then the Open Dragline Specification panel displays first.

Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the <spec_file_id> part of the dragline specifications file name. The maximum size is 6 alphanumeric characters. Selecting a name from the drop-down list will open an existing specifications file. Entering a new name will create a new specifications file.

Click OK.

The View Selection dialog box contains the following options:

Step forward

This option steps you forward to the next section in the sequence.

Step backward

This option steps you backward to the previous section in the sequence.

Jump to start

This option resets the view to the first section in the sequence.

Jump to middle

This option resets the view to the middle section in the sequence.

Jump to end

This option resets the view to the last section in the sequence.

Jump to current

This option resets the view to the current section, as specified in the Sections > Set Current option.

CANCEL

Once you have the desired section in view, cancelling will prompt you to make the section the Current Section (if it isn't already). If you choose to make this the current section, then all template objects will be projected into the plane of this section.
