Identify a Point's Coordinates
Use the Coordinate option to display the 2D section coordinates (X, Y) and full 3D coordinates (X, Y, Z) of any point on the current section. 2D section coordinates are relative to the section origin, set with the Sections > Define Origin option.
Note: If you are not in a slice view prior to running the Coordinate option, then you will automatically switch to the current section view.
Instructions
On the Dragline menu, point to View, and then click Coordinate.
Digitise the points. You may want to use one of the available snap modes to select an existing point, for example, Snap to Objects or
Snap to Points.
If a Dragline specifications file (.rsp
) was not opened prior to selecting this option, then the Open Dragline Specification panel displays first.

Spec file name
Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the <spec_file_id>
part of the dragline specifications file name. The maximum size is 6 alphanumeric characters. Selecting a name from the drop-down list will open an existing specifications file. Entering a new name will create a new specifications file.
Click OK.
The point(s) will be identified on the screen and the coordinate values displayed in the Report Window.
