Using the Mouse
Most input into Vulcan products is usually via the mouse cursor. The mouse generally has three buttons.
Left
The left mouse button acts as a Select button. You use it to select a menu, file, option, design data and buttons on a panel.
Middle
The middle mouse button is used to perform certain special functions, mainly while using view control options or icons. These functions are described in the appropriate documentation. The middle button can also be used in selection mode to cycle through items on the screen that occupy the same position. This feature is not available for a two button mouse.
Right
In most windows, the right mouse button acts as a Cancel button, for example when finishing digitising or exiting a mode. This button is also used to access context menus, i.e. shortcut menus that allow you to perform specific file/object related actions, such as renaming or loading a file, hiding/displaying object labels etc.
