W Tag

Apply a W Tag to an Object

Use the W Tag option to apply a W Tag (value) to an object. The value will apply to all points in the specified object. W Tags may be useful in, for example, underground mine design to assign the drive number.

To label any existing W tags, select the object, right-click on it and select Label > Point W Value from the displayed context menu. These labels will be updated dynamically as the W value changes.

Note:  Each point will have the same W value. If you want to assign different W values, then use the Assign W Tag option (under the Design > Attribute Edit submenu). If you want to assign the W value only to one point, then use the W Tag option (under the Design > Point Edit submenu).

Instructions

On the Design menu, point to Object Edit, and then click W Tag.

The Multiple Selection box displays. Use the Multiple Selection box to choose your method for selecting objects and select the objects.

The following panel is then displayed.

Enter the W value. The default is the current W value of the first point in the selected object.

Click OK.
