Export to IREDES

Export blast to IREDES XML file

Use this option to export a blast to an IREDES format. IREDES (International Rock Excavation Data Exchange Standard) is an industry standard to streamline data exchange between mine automation systems.

This option exports a single blast at a time. The exported data will be saved in an XML file.


Instructions

Note:  Before performing the export, you'll need to load blasts from the Load menu. To learn more, see Load.

On the Drill and Blast menu, point to Analysis and Reporting, and then click Export to IREDES.

You will be prompted to select a blast.

Select the blast that you want to export. Once selected, the following panel displays.

Output file

Supply a name to the output file. By default, the file will be will be saved in the current project directory.

You can also Browse to choose a different directory or overwrite to an existing XML file.

Limit exported holes by polygon

If you do not select this option, all the holes in the blast will be exported. However, selecting this option will prompt to select the blast containing the holes that need to be excluded in the export.

Click OK.

You will be prompted with a success message stating the number of holes in the blast exported to the new IREDES file.
