Save

Use the Save option to save a symbol into the symbols database (symbols.dgd.isis). To save the symbol with a different name, use the Save As option.It is also possible to save symbols through the Vulcan Explorer context menu. To do so, right-click on the symbol name in the Vulcan Explorer application (under the Resources Tab - Symbol Databases folder) and select Save.

Note:   The Save option (under the main File menu) saves all design work including symbols. The Save option (under the File > Symbols menu) only saves design work created or changed in the SYMB_EDT layer, that is the current symbol.
