Project name

Enter a project name.

The following definitions come from the SOT Help literature.

Mine Area

Text Field, SOT Field Type. Every activity must belong to a Mine Area. The activities can all belong to the same area, but they must be assigned to one.

Length

Production Field, SOT Field Type, usually feet or metres. This field can be zero but it must have a value for all activities.

Weight

Production Field, SOT Field Type, usually tons or tonnes. This field can be zero but it must have a value for all activities.

Driving Product Grade

Production Field, SOT Field Type, representing the grade of the primary product that is extracted. Non-zero values will initially identify Objective activities for scheduling. It can be a computed equivalent grade. The Name can be edited to something that is easily recognizable to you within SOT. This field can be zero but it must have a value for all activities. The Units can be carats per weight units, grams per weight units, ounces per weight units, parts per million, percent, or troy ounces per weight units.

Additional Product Grade

If you have other Production Field products that will contribute to the revenue, they will map to a Field Type of 'Other Product'. If the Driving Product is a composite value, you should map all individual products as 'Other Product' so they can be priced separately.

Contaminant Grade

If you have one or more optional Production Fields that represent Contaminants, and you plan to use them in setting constraints and/or costs, map the field to a Field Type of 'Contaminant'.

Activity Type

If you have other Production Fields that you plan to use to limit the scheduling capacity, map the fields to a Field Type of 'Activity Property'.

Trigger Activity

If you have an optional Text Field that represents activities that can mark a change in constraints, select it as Field Type 'Trigger Activity'.

Max Lag

If your EXF file has an optional Text Field that flags certain activities as ones that must be scheduled within a maximum time period after their predecessor, select it as Field Type 'Maximum Lag'. The field should be left blank in the EXF file for activities that don't have a maximum lag restriction.
