Load Triangulation

Use Load Triangulation to load a triangulation file into the buffer. This option can also be accessed by selecting the Load Triangulation button from the Grid Calc toolbar.

It is also possible to automatically display triangulations as they are loaded into the buffer. To do this, enable the Automatically display triangulations check box on the Preferences panel (displayed through the Preferences option).

Instructions

On the Grid Calc menu, point to Data, and then click Load Triangles to display the Load Triangulation panel.

File name or variable

Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the name of the triangulation file. Triangulation files are specified in a similar manner to grid files.

You can specify the file name as H.SR, which Grid Calc will understand to refer to the file ABCH.SRT (assuming the project code is ABC). If you are loading a triangulation file created in Vulcan, then you will need to specify the entire filename (for example, topography.00t).

Triangulation Colour

Select a colour for the triangulation.

Click OK.

The triangulation is then loaded. To display the triangulation, use the Display Triangulation option.
