Value

Use Value to evaluate a specified equation, containing references to the current cell. A grid must be loaded to use this option.

Instructions

On the Grid Calc menu, point to Grid Query, and then click Value to display the Value panel.

Equation

Enter the equation to evaluate. References to the standard variables: 'Z', 'W', 'X', 'Y', 'M' etc. refer to the current grid cell.

For example, if the loaded grid is SR, TP-Z will return the value of the variable TP (typically topography), at the current location less the Z value of the current location, that is, it will return the OB (Overburden) at the current location.

Click OK.

The equation is evaluated and the results displayed in the Report Window.
