Verify Model

Use the Verify Model option to check a model for crossing seams.

Instructions

On the Grid Calc menu, point to Model, and then click Verify Model to display the Verify Model panel.

Roof variable

Select the variable code used for the roof grid. The default is SR.

Floor variable

Select the variable code used for the floor grid. The default it SF.

Compare adjacent horizons

Select this option to perform a limited comparison of grids. Only those surfaces that Grid Calc considers adjacent (which are determined from the horizon table) are compared.

Compare every combination

Select this option to perform an exhaustive comparison between grids. This option is useful if the grids cover different areas or if there are split seams.

Do not honour masks

Select this check box to allow the comparisons to be extended to those regions that are masked.

Report all statistics

Select this check box to report statistics for all comparisons. If unticked, then statistics are only reported for inconsistent (for example, crossing) surfaces. The statistics reported include the minimum, maximum and average deviation between the surfaces and the number of grid points above, below or equal for the two surfaces.

Click OK.

The model is verified and information is then displayed in the Grid Calc Report Window.
