Contour

Contour a triangulated survey

This option is the same as the Survey Volumes > Contour option

The Contour option to generate a contour map of a triangulated survey generated through the Create Triangulation option.

Note

The triangulation to be contoured does not need to be displayed on the screen as the Contour option gets the name of the nominated triangulation from the layer name of the selected object.

Instructions

• Select Survey menu
• Select Surveying submenu
• Select Contour option

Select the survey or design. The survey/object is then highlighted and you will need to confirm that the correct survey has been chosen. You will then need to nominate the colour of the minor and major intervals.

The following panel is then displayed.

Contouring panel

Each contour displays in 3D at its elevation value. The major interval must be a multiple of the minor interval.

Select OK.

The contours are then created and placed in an underlay with the same name as the survey.
