Invisible
Make an Object or Layer Invisible
Use the Invisible option to make selected items invisible. This is useful when there are a large number of objects or layers and you don't want the risk of accidentally picking and editing the wrong object. You may, however, prefer to use the Shadow option instead, which leaves the selected objects on the screen.
This option can also be accessed by clicking the Invisible button on the Visibility toolbar.
Underlays, such as grids and triangulations, can also be made invisible.
Instructions
On the View menu, point to Visibility, and then click Invisible.
The Select By dialog box displays, allowing you to select the items by layer or object. The selected objects are then made invisible.
To bring the objects or layers back, use the Visible or All Visible option.
