Display Attributes
Define Attribute Schemes
Use the Display Attributes option to define a number of display attribute schemes and to control triangulation or polygon colour and visibility while scheduling. The attribute schemes are stored in an external ASCII preferences file in the format <file name>.chronos_resources.
Instructions
- Select iGantt menu
- Select Display & Query submenu
- Select Display Attributes option

The selections are applied and the following panel displays.
Attributes panel
The panel utilises grid controls to manage the grid information, i.e. right-click context menus, that allow you to perform options such as hiding columns, cutting, copying, and pasting cells, and inserting and deleting rows. Right-click in the grid area to display the context menu. Descriptions of the available options are listed below.

Use the Select Columns option to choose which grid columns to display in the panel, and optionally save the selection to a template for future use. Alternatively, select cells and click Hide Columns to hide the respective columns directly.

Select cells and use the Cut, Copy, and Paste options to duplicate or move cell entries.

Select a cell in a row of interest and use the various insert and delete row options to manage the records in the grid.

Click Clear Cells to clear the contents of a selection.
Conditions
Refers to a group of logical expressions used to evaluate the attributes of each block. The criteria used can either be manually entered, or selected from the list.
Visibility
Select the visibility setting to be used to define how the states are to be displayed when conditions are reached or passed. The available visibility settings are:
- No change - the blocks are left as it currently is.
- Visible - the block is changed from its current state to being visible.
- Invis - the block is changed from its current state to being invisible.
- Shadow - the block is changed from its current state to being shadowed.
Change Colour
Select this check box to display the blocks in a different colour when particular conditions are passed or reached.
Pattern
Select this check box to change the fill pattern of a block when a condition is reached or passed.
Action
Select this option to define how the evaluation of conditions is to continue. An else
statement is used to provide an alternative condition when one is not passed, whereas a done
statement is used when you do not want to evaluate any further conditions. The available statements are selected from the list.
Apply
Select this check box to apply the edits made to either the reserve triangulations or polygons.
Click OK.
The Multiple Selection box is then displayed, allowing you to select the polygon or triangulation by object, name etc.
You will be prompted to exit the option, or save and apply the attributes.
