Dependencies

The Dependencies tab is located at the bottom of the screen as part of the Reporting Window tabs (see User Interface). It is used to create pre-determined sequences that are to be honoured by the client evaluator when creating optimal schedules. The Origin Solids - Dependencies section details how to create dependencies in a setup and is also applicable to Epoch. There are only two minor differences:

• Manual (activity) dependencies can be created in Epoch, where you can specify the activity performed on the predecessor and successor solid before linking the two together.
• Relational dependencies can be further restricted by choosing the activity performed on the predecessor and successor solids.
