2. Configure the Setup

Source file: 2-strategy-setup-configure.htm

Once you create a Strategy setup, you need to configure it to include the necessary information for schedule generation.

Strategy setup configuration is divided into a number of tabs. Each tab represents an aspect of the setup the software requires to schedule the mine. The following is a list of tabs that need to be configured for a Strategy setup to be ready for server submission:

  • Process Setup: Add process flow components to your setup.
  • Tonnage & Grade: Specify total tonnage, ore tonnage, as well as primary and secondary elements.
  • Lithology : Define lithology types that can be refined by each process in your setup.
  • Targets & Economics: Specify the economic profile of your setup.
  • Fixed Cut-Offs: Specify the process cut-off grade manually or allow the software to perform cut-off grade optimisation.
  • Constraints: Specify a set of setup constraints in each period.
  • Reporting: Add reporting items to the schedule report.
  • Engine Parameters: Specify constraints surrounding schedule generation.
  • Note:  Specifying engine parameters is optional.
