Underground Mesh

This tool will attempt to filter out the wire mesh that is used as reinforcement on walls in underground tunnels.

1. Select the underground scan with the mesh to be filtered out in the project explorer.

2. On the Position and Filter ribbon tab navigate to the Filter group. From the Filters drop-down list select Underground Mesh.

3. Select whether the walls have shotcrete or non shotcrete.

   

4. Click OK. The points on the walls and the mesh will now be filtered and highlight the mesh in red.

5. In the following panel adjusting the Mesh confidence slider or typing a value in the box will dynamically display how much of the mesh will be filtered out.

6. Select Keep mesh points to keep some of the mesh points.

7. Select the required Filter combination. 

8. Click OK.

   

Note:  The points can be recovered using the Show All option.
