Overview

This section describes the options under the Transfer submenu.

The import options allow regular and sub-blocked (irregular) block models in ASCII format to be imported into Vulcan. There is also an option to import an ASCII file containing values, that is, attributes, and coordinate data into a Vulcan block model, thus updating the values in the model.

The export options allow Vulcan block models to be exported as ASCII files. Block model values may also be written to a mapfile, Isis database or drillhole database using the Export Mask and the Export Drilling options.

Other options in this submenu allow you to add, delete, extract and regularise (reblock) block models. Regularising produces regular models with average, total and percentage variables.
