Segment Colour

Modify the colour of a line segment

The Segment Colour option to modify the colour of a line segment in an object, thus allowing multicoloured objects. This option is mainly used for strings, such as drillhole traces. For closed objects, such as polygons and rectangles, the closing segment is coloured the same as the preceding line segment.


Instructions

  • Select Design menu
  • Select Attribute Edit submenu
  • Select Segment Colour option

Select the object that contains the line segment that you want to colour. You will then need to select the line segment.

The following panel is then displayed.

Colour

Select a colour from the current colour table.

Select OK.

The chosen colour is applied and you will then be prompted to select another line segment. Cancel when finished selecting line segments.

Tip:  It is also possible to modify the colour of a line segment through the Vulcan context menu. To do so, right-click on the desired line segment and select Line Segment > Colour from the displayed context menu. Once selected, you will then be required to nominate a colour for the chosen line segment.
