Attributes

Use the Attributes option to edit the various attributes of a dimension object. The dimension objects must be loaded onscreen prior to selecting the Attributes option.

On the Design menu, point to Dimension, and then click Attributes

The Multiple Selection box displays. Use the Multiple Selection box to choose your method of selecting the objects and select the objects.

A version of the Dimension Attributes panel is then displayed for each type of dimension object selected. For example, if your selection contains line dimension objects and arc dimension objects, then you will be prompted with two panels, i.e. the Dimension Line panel for the lines, and the Dimension Arc panel for the arcs.

For information on these panels refer to the Defaults : Dimension section of the Tools > Preferences option.

Once each panel has been completed, the changes will be applied to all selected dimension objects of the corresponding type. To avoid changing any selected dimension type, select the Cancel button at the corresponding panel.

Upon completion, the Multiple Selection box is redisplayed allowing you select another group of dimension objects. Cancel to exit the option.

If you do not want to retain the changes, then you can select the Undo option (or the Undo button on the Standard toolbar) to revert to the state immediately prior to the object selection.
