Add

Use the Add option to add control points to an open (loaded) map control points file.

Instructions

On the Design menu, point to Map Control Points, and then click Add.

Select the map control underlay. You will then need to indicate the distorted coordinate, followed by the corrected coordinate. You can use any of the design entry modes to digitise these points.

To ensure accuracy use the Snap to Points mode to digitise the first point and the Keyboard Input mode to digitise the correct point.

Cancel when you have finished digitising the control points. The map control points file is updating automatically.
