Delete Metadata

Use the Delete Metadata option to remove metadata information from the selected design object(s). Whenever a new metadata is assigned, the existing metadata information in the selected design object(s) is merged with the new one. To prevent this, it is advised to delete metadata before assigning a new one. Also see Delete existing metadata option.

Instructions

On the Design menu, point to Metadata, and then click Delete Metadata.

The Multiple Selection box displays. From the displayed dialog, specify the selection criteria followed by the necessary design objects.

Note: Make sure you have some metadata information assigned to the selected objects.
