Drag

Use this option to move a nominated design object, such as a polygon, string, text etc., to a new position.

This option can also be accessed by selecting the Drag button from the Move toolbar. The Move toolbar is a "sub toolbar" and can either be accessed through the Modify toolbar or through using the Toolbar Visibility option (under the Tools menu).

Instructions

On the Design menu, point to Object Edit, and then click Drag.

Select the design object that you want to move. To do this, click on the object and hold the mouse button down before dragging it to the new position. Once the object has been moved, you will be asked whether to Move or Copy.

Move

Select this option to move the selected object (or text) to the new position.

Copy

Select this option to move the selected object (or text) to the new position and paste a duplicate at the original position.

Click Cancel when you have finished moving objects.
