Append Extra Points onto a String

Use the Append option to add extra points to either the start or the end of a nominated string.

This option can also be accessed by selecting the Insert Append button from the Insert toolbar. The Insert toolbar is a "sub toolbar" and can either be accessed through the Modify toolbar or through using the Toolbar Visibility option (under the Tools menu).

Instructions

On the Design menu, point to Point Edit, and then click Append.

Select the object that you want to add the extra points to.

Indicate the start or end of the string. Any point along the highlighted string can be selected, however, Vulcan will use the end point that is closest to your selected point.
