Group

Use the Group option to group a number of objects. Once the group has been defined, any editing functions will only apply to this group thus eliminating the need to select all of these objects every time you want to edit them.

Note The selection is only valid for the current Vulcan session.

Instructions

On the Design menu, point to Selection Criteria, and then click Group.

The Multiple Selection box displays. Use the Multiple Selection box to choose your method of selecting the objects for grouping and select the objects.

Once the objects have been selected, any editing functions will only be applied to this group. Editing functions should only be accessed via the Menu options when dealing with this option. Attempting to edit a group by right clicking and changing the properties of one of the objects will result in only that object being changed.

To change the objects in a group, use the Ungroup option. To switch the group selection temporarily off, use the Disable option.
