Ungroup

Use the Ungroup option to remove objects from a group. Objects are grouped (using the Group option) for editing purposes, so that any editing can be applied to a whole group instead of having to select each object.

Once this option is selected, the objects that have been grouped remain visible, and the remainder of the objects are shadowed. In this way you can select the objects to remove from groups.

Instructions

On the Design menu, point to Selection Criteria, and then click Ungroup.

The Select By dialog box is then displayed. Use the Multiple Selection box to select the method of removing objects from the group.

OBJECT

Select this option to choose each object that is to be removed from the group.

ALL

Select this option to remove all of the objects from the group.

Cancel when you have finished removing objects from groups.
