Associate Channel

Use the Associate Channel option to associate a channel with a digitised centre line.

Notes

• Channels only have inflection points at the start of an interval.
• Inflection ( dsr) data is not allowed to be located in an interval.
• An "edit" database is not used in channel sampling modification utilities.

Instructions

On the Geology menu, point to Channel Sampling, and then click Associate Channel.

Select the channel to associate, followed by a digitised line. Once selected, the channel is associated with the chosen line and you will be asked to confirm the adjustment.

Upon confirmation, the channel sample"s azimuth and dip values are adjusted (according to the nominated centre line) and the adjusted channel is saved to the channel database.
